Ok here’s a pic to help folks looking for a faucet. The “spread” is the distance between supply lines. If you have one installed, it’s the center of the hot handle to the center of the cold handle. If you’re doing the installation now and you see the water source lines, well you can see the water lines are directly behind the handles. Don’t measure the casing, measure the distance between the two supply lines.

Most tub and shower faucets are 8” between hot and cold water lines, also called the “spread”. Most sink faucets have a 4” spread.
Jeanna asks what to do with the 10” spread in her bath. The 3-piece tub faucet is actually over 20 little pieces, allowing you to place it anywhere you need from about 4 inches to 18 inches apart. If the holes are already cut, this faucet gives you flexibility to fit existing needs. If you are able to move the water lines, however, during this installation might be a good time to change it the standard 8”.

Joe in NJ wanted to know if we had a local showroom, we’re a bit far from him but try to make a virtual showroom with pics of this Shower Pan:

PEX and plumbing fittings
Chris has been working on the new section for a while, the complete plumbing fittings section is almost ready.

tandl409 asks if we put tint on mobile home storm doors. Well that is an interesting question, and is not a standard upgrade we have available, but we’ll certainly find a solution. A local window tinter said they would charge $160 for this service. Whoa! Sounds like a lot for a $208 door, but it is nearly 18 square feet of tinting. Also you could apply the tint film yourself, if you’re comfortable doing that.
We took apart every piece that comes in the garden tub faucet. People seem to like this photo because it shows exactly what you actually get.
